Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork

- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Prepare the Meatballs:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well with your hands until everything is evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Cook the Meatballs:
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet.
- Carefully add the meatballs to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until browned.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
- Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet.

- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, sugar, salt, pepper, basil, and parsley.

- Add the meatballs back to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes more, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened slightly.

- Serve the Bolognese meatballs over spaghetti, fettuccine, or your favorite pasta.
- Garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
