What is a VGA Cable?

How Does It Work?

Advantages of VGA:

Disadvantages of VGA:
- Limited Resolution: VGA is an analog signal standard and is limited in resolution compared to digital interfaces like HDMI and DisplayPort.

- No Audio Transmission: VGA cables do not transmit audio.
When to Use VGA:
VGA is still a viable option for older devices or if you don't need high-resolution video output. However, for most modern applications, HDMI or DisplayPort are better options due to their higher resolution capabilities and digital signal transmission.
Is VGA Obsolete?
While VGA is still supported on some devices, it is considered obsolete by most standards. Modern devices are primarily using digital interfaces like HDMI and DisplayPort.
